Our History
Founded in 1962 and restructured in 1983, M.E.G.A. S.p.A. quickly established itself as a world leader in the production of forged fittings, self-reinforcing inserts, and specialized products for ferrous and non-ferrous plant projects.
In 1988, the company initiated a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve ISO 9001 certification, a goal successfully met in 1990 through Det Norske Veritas, affirming adherence to international quality standards. In 2009, ASME accreditation for material organization was obtained, aligning perfectly with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
The company's commitment to excellence continued with the achievement of ISO17025 accreditation for its in-house testing laboratory in 2016 and API 5LD accreditation for its welding department in 2017.
In the same year, M.E.G.A. USA, the company's fourth production facility, obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification.
